Words that society uses to define ‘special needs’ people have the power to single them out.
They’re all ‘dis’ words- ‘disabled, dystonic, diseased’- words that set them apart, at best turning them into beggars- handi(n)capped- and at worst negating them as people- invalid!
These words steal humanity, reflecting views like those towards Jews in Holocaust, and those towards ‘blacks’ for a century
